Northern Colorado’s retail market experienced notable growth in key fundamentals such as net absorption and the average asking lease rate in 2017.
Over 583,000 sq. ft. of retail space delivered in the market in 2017, and 279,000 sq. ft. was still under way at year-end. The area gained the second-largest sporting goods store in the nation as a 260,000-sq.-ft. Scheels opened in Johnstown.
Over 428,000 sq. ft. of retail space traded in 2017, totaling $135.9 million in transaction volume.
